Description

The gz task command group manages TASK entities in the current execution lineage (ADR > OBPI > local REQ > TASK). Each subcommand transitions a task through its lifecycle and emits the corresponding ledger event.

This lineage encodes brief-local acceptance criteria and task allocation, not ownership of durable product requirements. The 2026-09-25 hierarchy amendment establishes independent catalog authority: briefs address identifiable states of requirements and retain local criteria. Existing TASK/REQ identifiers and proof bindings remain valid while catalog mechanics await implementation.
